And frankly, it looks pretty darn nice.
Shawn’s Dad, Orville, was with us for a couple of weeks this month. His duties, while here, included refinishing this piece of furniture that was given to us by John’s Pop some time ago. It had this fairly ugly greenish finish plus some stains and blemishes. Refinishing it kept Orville busy and netted us a nice dresser. He stripped, sanded, stained, sealed, burnished, and buffed and the end product, you’ll have to agree, looks pretty sharp!
While he was here, Orv also got to spend some time with his grandsons. He saw them play soccer, attended the Scout Troop’s Court of Honor, went out to dinner with them, and generally hung out. It was good having him vist. Thanks Orv.
