Like last year’s party, we dedicated our Holiday Party this year toward gathering some donations for the North Reading Food Pantry. Oh, and having fun!!
As usual, our neighbors and friends came through with flying colors! With a record crowd in attendance, the house was rockin’ both upstairs and down. We were honored to host friends from our work and our church, and many of our wonderful neighbors.
The wassail bowl, with it’s baked apples, was on-target as always and claimed its usual victims…
By the time the limoncello came out, the stories had gotten a little louder and the tales a little taller! There was the great cooler caper and then some silly drinking contest between the dog and one our favorite guests! We’re pretty sure that at least some of the guests had at least a little bit of fun!
In the end, we found ourselves with a carload of food and over $1,000 to deliver to the food pantry!! We know that when we bring in the goods on Monday morning they will be a most welcome offering. We are once again blessed with hearts warmed through the wonderful generosity of our guests who have given us the awesome Christmas present of being able to help! Thank you all!
